How does the Mazda Maintenance Plan differ from the Mazda Service Plan?

While the Service Plan covers only routine scheduled maintenance, the Maintenance Plan includes these services plus repairs for mechanical or electrical breakdowns and wear and tear, providing more extensive protection for your vehicle.
Are wear and tear items covered under the plan?
The plan covers maintenance repairs due to normal wear and tear as determined by industry norms. For example, brake pads are generally replaced around 30,000km, and rear linings around 45,000km. Components outside the manufacturer’s specifications or usage deemed excessive by the Administrator are not covered.
How can I extend my Mazda Maintenance Plan?
You can extend your Mazda Maintenance Plan by contacting an Authorized Mazda Dealer. Ensure your vehicle meets the eligibility criteria, such as having less than 60,000 kilometers on the odometer and being less than 24 months old.
What is not covered by the Mazda Maintenance Plan?
The plan does not cover non-standard components, modifications, daily maintenance checks, or wear and tear deemed excessive by the Administrator. It also excludes repairs due to accidents, intentional damage, rust, and misuse.
What should I do if my odometer stops working?
If your odometer fails, inform the Administrator immediately and arrange for repair at an Authorized Mazda Dealer. The Administrator will estimate the kilometers traveled during the period the odometer was inoperative to maintain the plan benefits.
