What does the MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan cover?
The MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan covers Manufacturer-specified parts, labour, and oil required for periodic maintenance of your vehicle. It includes routine service work and maintenance repairs due to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and normal wear and tear.
How does the MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan differ from the MazdaCare® Service Plan?
The MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan offers more comprehensive coverage than the MazdaCare® Service Plan. While the MazdaCare® Service Plan covers only routine scheduled maintenance, the MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan includes these services plus repairs for mechanical or electrical breakdowns and wear and tear, providing more extensive protection for your vehicle.
Are wear and tear items covered under the plan?
The plan covers maintenance repairs due to normal wear and tear as determined by industry norms. For example, brake pads are generally replaced around 30,000km, and rear linings around 45,000km. Components outside the manufacturer’s specifications or usage deemed excessive by the Administrator are not covered.
How can I extend my MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan?
You can extend your MazdaCare® Maintenance Wear & Tear Plan by contacting an Authorised Mazda Dealer. Extension requirement is that the vehicle must have an active MazdaCare® Service Plan or MazdaCare® Extended Service Plan
What is not covered by the MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan?
The plan does not cover non-standard components, modifications, daily maintenance checks, or wear and tear deemed excessive by the Administrator. It also excludes repairs due to accidents, intentional damage, rust, and misuse.
What should I do if my odometer stops working?
If your odometer fails, inform the Administrator immediately and arrange for repair at an Authorised Mazda Dealer. The Administrator will estimate the kilometres traveled during the period the odometer was inoperative to maintain the plan benefits.

Authorised Mazda Dealers ensure all services are performed by trained technicians using genuine Mazda parts and approved fluids, maintaining your vehicle's optimal performance and the validity of your MazdaCare® Maintenance Plan.
